Many school leaders think that the secret to developing great teaching and learning is to find the best that’s available and then implement it. This is certainly a very important part of the equation, but there are other parts including available resources, the enthusiasm of the teachers to implement same and the commitment of the students to learning, to mention just a few.

Great School Health
Having healthy children in your school is not just important for their wellbeing and personal development but also important for their academic success.
There are some wonderful things that any school can do but there is a limit to what can be achieved when a school acts on its own initiative without full engagement and support from all school stakeholders -– and particularly parents and the children themselves.
If you wish to maximise the health and wellbeing of the students, the best way is to develop an agreed plan of action with the involvement and engagement of all relevant stakeholders. What is more, you don’t just need a plan of action but also commitment from those stakeholders to implement the plan.

Great School Leadership Facilitation
The best way that we know how to effect change in schools is through using the Future Search approach in one of the ways outlined above. However, it is sometimes the case that Schools are not ready to fully utilise this approach but seek assistance in facilitating smaller group meetings (eg of the School Leadership or Senior Management Team).
The focus of this work can be any systemic issue including school strategic planning, implementing an existing strategic plan, school change, school visioning, school community building, school culture, creating a healthy school, and teaching and learning
This can range from a half-day on-site to a 2 or more day retreat.
